2-4 years old no mods allowed

                        MICHIGANSNO-X 2022-23 SEASON RULES

Class rules are put in place to keep a safe race environment. Rules at race officials discretion.  All participants must be concerned with safety and be familiar with these rules.

No arguing will be tolerated and can end in race day elimination with no refund. 

Michigan Sno-x can not guarantee safety even when the rules are enforced.  Each racer is responsible to check facilities and condition of track and must assume the risk of racing.

Any racer under 18 must have waiver signed by an adult. All racers must have waivers on file with Michigan Sno-x prior to day.

All racers in any class will be required to have a snowcross style tekvest. (no plastic)

All racers must were goggles or full faced helmets

All sleds must have working tether

Rear snowflap must be intact and touch ground on snocross sleds

No Oxygenated fuels

120 Stock

stock class will be broke down into 2 groups 4-7 and 8-12 years old

4 -12 years old All parts must be purchased no home made parts Only mods allowed

-Adjustable main jet

-Governor bypass spring

-Running board kits (grips)

-Rear idler wheel kits (must be snowmobile wheels)

-Handle bar risers

-stock gears 10 front 42 rear

Factory drivers and Factory skis(older ski doos can put new ski doo skis on if metal)

Track clips on every window

Stock motor from factory

No studs or screws

Mod 120
Briggs 206

6-12 years old No home made parts Only mods allowed are as followed

Must be stock factory motor

Any 120 chassis mods(running boards, handle bar risers)

Any suspension Mods( shocks, rear wheels)

Any steering mods(must be to recs motors specs for width)

Any gear ratio, 35 chain, clutch(no belt drives)

Any 120 exhaust must exit out original hole

Factory carb with adjustable main jet

No motor mods must be stock internals(cam, spring, valves, pistons)

5 tooth track drivers and track clips allowed

Any 120 ski (max 5" carbides)

No studs or ice screws

Factory spec engine( can remove governor gear)

Track clips on every window

 

 

 

Briggs runs with Outlaw 

120 outlaw
200cc snoscoot

 

 

 

6-13 years old Any motor, any suspension, any steering mods, Belt drives are allowed

no studs or ice screws, 120 chassis hood must close and exhaust out bottom of belly pan, max 5" carbides, any skis must be 120 platform

200 snoscoots can run in outlaw class in stock form

Sled must be safe 

2 different age brackets 6-9 and 10-13 year old.

Must be 100% stock motor No engine mods

Governor must be in tack factory carb with no changes in diameter.

Widening kits, skis, footwells, race shocks are not allowed

Low snow kits and handlebars are allowed

Track clips on every window

Working tach at tech maximum rpm

200's can also run in outlaw class

No studs or ice screws

 

Full size sleds

High visibility orange required on body

No transponder

Number plates on full size sleds(refer to Isoc for class colors)

Trail class is only class with no number plates

All other sleds with follow Isoc rules with the added throttle block in Transition class and juniors classes

Transition

8-11  and 10-13 years old All 600cc  and 500cc sleds will be throttle blocked  number plates and no studs allowed Max rpm 6,500 (artic cat, skidoos) polaris max rpm 6,600.  Artic cat, Skidoo clutch engagement 4,000 (Polaris 4,100) no cans

No other programable tethers allowed that are not transition specific  between trailer and starting line 

Junior girls

12-13 years old All 600cc and 500cc sleds will be throttle blocked refer to Isoc rules Max rpm 6,500 

No 440 liquid cooled sleds

No cans

Junior boys

12-13 years old All 600cc and 500cc sleds will be throttle blocked refer to Isoc rules Max rpm 6,500
